Hungarian Open-Air Museum

The Hungarian Open-Air Museum, known as the Skanzen, opened in 1967 on a 63-hectare site on the northwestern edge of Szentendre. It reassembles authentic rural buildings and furnishings from eight regions of historic Hungary, dating from the mid-18th to the mid-20th century, arranged as walkable village groups.
