Fondation Vasarely

The Fondation Vasarely is an art centre in Aix-en-Provence designed by the op-art painter Victor Vasarely and built from 1973 by the architects Jean Sonnier and Dominique Ronsseray. Opened in 1976 in the Jas de Bouffan district, its linked hexagonal cells hold 42 monumental works by Vasarely, alongside changing exhibitions.
