Alicante Bullring

Alicante Bullring stands opposite Plaza de España; it was first built in 1848 to a design by Emilio Jover and enlarged in 1888 by José Guardiola Picó. It seats about 15,000 spectators on three tiers and houses the city's bullfighting museum, and visitors can tour the ring, the stands and the museum.
