Palace of Boniface VIII

The Palace of Boniface VIII is a medieval palace in the upper town of Anagni, once owned by the family of Pope Gregory IX and later bought by Pietro II Caetani, nephew of Boniface VIII. Since 1950 it has housed a museum on Boniface VIII and the attack on him at Anagni in 1303; part of the building is the motherhouse of the Cistercian Sisters of Charity.
