Flattop Mountain

Flattop Mountain is a 1,070 m summit in Chugach State Park on the eastern edge of Anchorage, about 18 km from downtown. From the Glen Alps trailhead a trail of about 2.4 km climbs some 400 m to the flat top, the last stretch a scramble over rocks. The summit looks over the city, Cook Inlet and, on clear days, the Alaska Range.
