religious building · Antalya The Yivli Minaret Mosque in Kaleiçi takes its name from its 38-metre fluted brick minaret, built under the Seljuk sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I in the early 13th century and still showing traces of turquoise tiles. The six-domed prayer hall dates from 1373. It is a working mosque: it is not open for sightseeing during prayers, and visitors dress modestly and remove their shoes.

Hadrian's Gate is a triple-arched marble gateway erected in honour of the Roman emperor Hadrian, who visited Antalya in 130 AD. Flanked by two towers, it was later built into the city walls and is the only surviving gate into Kaleiçi; glass panels in the passage show the ancient paving with ruts worn by cart wheels.

Hıdırlık Tower is a 14-metre stone tower at the southern tip of Kaleiçi, where Antalya's old land walls met the sea walls above the cliffs. Built by the Romans in the 2nd century AD as a round tower on a square base, it later served as a fortification and a lighthouse. It stands at the edge of Karaalioğlu Park and is seen from outside.
