Kawah Putih

Kawah Putih is a crater lake on Mount Patuha near Ciwidey, south of Bandung, at about 2,430 metres above sea level. Its highly acidic water shifts between pale turquoise, whitish green and brown with the sulphur content, and the surrounding sand and rocks are bleached white. The site has been open to visitors since 1987.
