Wat Suthat

Wat Suthat Thepphawararam is a first-class royal temple in the old city, begun by King Rama I in 1807 and completed under Rama III in 1847, with the Giant Swing standing in front of it. Its main hall enshrines Phra Si Sakyamuni, an eight-metre bronze Buddha brought from Sukhothai, and is ringed by 28 Chinese-style pagodas.
