Prior Park Landscape Garden

Prior Park Landscape Garden fills a steep valley on the southern edge of Bath, laid out from the 1730s for Ralph Allen with advice from the poet Alexander Pope and later reshaped by Capability Brown. Paths lead past a grotto, a cascade and a serpentine lake down to three pools and a Palladian bridge, with views over the city. The National Trust runs it.
