Notre-Dame de Beaune

Notre-Dame de Beaune is a collegiate church in the centre of Beaune, one of the last large Romanesque churches of Burgundy, begun in the mid-12th century on the model of Cluny and finished early in the 13th. Inside are 15th-century wall paintings, a 17th-century organ and tapestries on the life of the Virgin given in 1500; a gallery of the 13th-century cloister survives.
