Dokumentation Obersalzberg

A museum on the Obersalzberg mountain above Berchtesgaden, opened in 1999 and run by the Institute of Contemporary History in Munich, documenting the site's use as a second seat of Nazi power from the 1930s. Exhibits cover the Nazi regime and the Obersalzberg complex itself, and a short tunnel leads into part of the wartime bunker system built beneath it in 1943-45.
