Köpenick Palace
A Baroque palace on an island in the Dahme river in Köpenick, built from 1558 as a hunting lodge for Elector Joachim II Hector on the site of a 6th-century Slavic fort. Since 1963 it has housed the Kunstgewerbemuseum's permanent collection of Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo interior design and decorative arts from the 16th to 18th centuries.
