Reichstag Building

The Reichstag building is the historic parliament building on Platz der Republik in Berlin, built between 1884 and 1894 to designs by Paul Wallot and now the seat of the Bundestag. Severely damaged in the 1933 Reichstag fire and in the Second World War, it was rebuilt between 1995 and 1999 by architect Norman Foster, who added the walk-in glass dome above the plenary chamber.
