Federal Palace

The Federal Palace is the seat of the Swiss parliament and government, a complex just over 300 metres long whose domed parliament building on the Bundesplatz was completed in 1902 to plans by Hans Wilhelm Auer. Guided tours of the domed hall and the council chambers run on set days and are booked online; during sessions, debates can be followed from the public gallery.
