Marimurtra Botanical Garden

Marimurtra Botanical Garden sits on cliffs above the sea at Blanes, on the Costa Brava. The German businessman Carl Faust began it in 1921, and his foundation still runs it. About 4 hectares are open to visitors, with some 3,000 plant species in three gardens, and a path of steps and cypresses leads down to the Linnaeus temple above the coves.
