About Boston

Boston is the capital of Massachusetts and one of the oldest cities in the United States, with sites of the American Revolution in its centre. The Freedom Trail leads from Boston Common past the Massachusetts State House, the Old State House, Faneuil Hall and the Paul Revere House to the USS Constitution in Charlestown. The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum and the New England Aquarium lie on the harbour, and the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum stand near Fenway Park. Three days cover the main sights; the centre is walkable and the subway reaches the rest.
