Palais Jacques Cœur
The Palais Jacques Cœur is a town mansion in Bourges built between 1443 and about 1453 for Jacques Cœur, merchant and treasurer to King Charles VII. Set against the Gallo-Roman city wall and built in the Flamboyant Gothic style, it has a carved street façade, an inner courtyard with arcaded galleries, spiral staircase towers and a chapel.
