Palace of the Parliament
The Palace of the Parliament was built in 1984–1997 for Nicolae Ceaușescu to plans by chief architect Anca Petrescu, on Spirea's Hill in Bucharest. It seats both chambers of the Romanian Parliament and the National Museum of Contemporary Art; guided tours lead through marble halls and galleries, and visitors need an original ID document.
