Segesta

Segesta was a city of the Elymians, one of the native peoples of Sicily, on Monte Barbaro near Calatafimi. Outside its walls stands a Doric temple of 6 by 14 columns from around 430–420 BC that was never finished; on the hilltop above are a theatre of the 2nd century BC, the agora and the ruins of a medieval castle and mosque.
