Masino Castle
Masino Castle stands on a moraine hill of the Serra di Ivrea above the Canavese plain and is documented since 1070. For more than nine centuries it belonged to the Valperga family, who turned the fortress into an aristocratic residence. Owned by the FAI since 1988, it shows frescoed halls, a library of over 25,000 volumes and a large park.
