tourist attraction · Centola Cape Palinuro is a limestone headland on the Cilento coast at Palinuro, in the comune of Centola, whose cliffs drop straight into the Tyrrhenian Sea. Waves have carved many sea caves into it, among them the Grotta Azzurra, named for the blue colour of its water; the caves are visited on boat trips from Palinuro.
