Archaeological Museum of Chania

The Archaeological Museum of Chania opened in 2022 in a new building on Skra Street in the Chalepa district, replacing the old museum in the Venetian church of St Francis. Its galleries trace the Chania region from the first human traces to the 4th century AD, with Minoan finds from Kastelli hill, Linear A and B tablets, and Roman mosaics from Kydonia.
