Chartres Cathedral

Chartres Cathedral is the Gothic cathedral of Notre-Dame in Chartres, built mostly between 1194 and 1220 above an earlier Romanesque crypt. Most of its medieval stained-glass windows survive, its three portals carry hundreds of sculpted figures, and its two different west spires date from about 1160 and 1507–1513. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
