Futuroscope

Futuroscope is a theme park built around film, image and projection techniques, 10 km north of Poitiers. Opened in 1987 on the initiative of the Vienne département, it has 3D and 4D cinemas, motion rides and evening shows on its lake, set among futuristic pavilions such as the mirrored, crystal-shaped Kinémax and a building topped by a white sphere.
