Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire

The Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire is a château estate above the Loire, rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries by the Amboise family and later owned by Catherine de' Medici. Visitors see the furnished château, the 1877 stables and a park that hosts the International Garden Festival, held since 1992, and contemporary art installations.
