Grosvenor Museum

The Grosvenor Museum in Chester opened in 1886 in a red-brick building by the architect Thomas Lockwood and takes its name from the Grosvenor family, the Dukes of Westminster. Its collections include Roman archaeology with a gallery of Roman tombstones, paintings, musical instruments and a Victorian parlour in the period house next door.
