John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge

The John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge crosses the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Covington, Kentucky. Designed by John A. Roebling and opened in 1867, its 322-metre main span was the longest in the world at the time, and its stone towers and cables foreshadow his later Brooklyn Bridge. Walkways run along both sides.
