Kolumba

Kolumba is an art museum in Cologne run by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese, built on the ruins of the medieval St. Kolumba church destroyed in the Second World War. Designed by Peter Zumthor and opened in 2007, it incorporates the excavated foundations and the 1950 chapel Madonna in the Ruins by Gottfried Böhm.
