What’s on
Now onJochen Lempert, Flora Incognita
Until 21 Feb 2027
The details and patterns of nature are transformed into analogue black-and-white photographs by the German artist Jochen Lempert (b. 1958). Drawing on his training as a biologist, he combines scientific observation and artistic sensibility, transforming the details and patterns of nature into poetic investigations of everyday life.
Amalie Smith, Levende
The Danish visual artist and writer Amalie Smith (b. 1985) presents her most extensive solo exhibition, with newly produced works created specifically for the north wing of Kunsthal Charlottenborg. Through a series of sculptural installations and a pervasive sound work, she explores the emergence of life and the material processes, patterns and deposits that living things leave in the world.
Som Supaparinya, Reroute:
The Thai artist Som Supaparinya (b. 1973) examines how infrastructure, landscapes and political alliances shape collective memory in Southeast Asia. Her first solo exhibition in Scandinavia brings together two recent video installations that connect overlooked regional histories with contemporary global questions of power, ecology and geopolitics.
