Rinaldo Zardini Palaeontology Museum

The Rinaldo Zardini Palaeontology Museum in Cortina d'Ampezzo displays Triassic fossils from the Dolomites around the town, among them marine shells, corals and sponges. It opened in 1975 around the collection of the local researcher Rinaldo Zardini and is run by the Regole d'Ampezzo, the valley's community landowners.
