Dubai Opera

Dubai Opera is a 2,000-seat performing arts centre in the Opera District of Downtown Dubai, developed by Emaar and opened on 31 August 2016 with a concert by Plácido Domingo. Designed by Janus Rostock of Atkins with a form recalling a dhow, its hall converts between theatre, concert hall and flat-floor event space, and stages opera, ballet, musicals and concerts.
