Seyðisfjarðarkirkja

Seyðisfjarðarkirkja is the pale blue timber church of Seyðisfjörður, a fjord town about 18 km from Egilsstaðir over the Fjarðarheiði pass. Built in 1920–22 partly from an older church that stood at Vestdalseyri, it was designed by Jón G. Jónasson and has a roof tower and large arched windows. It was restored after a fire in 1989.
