Stegastein

Stegastein is a viewing platform on the Aurlandsfjellet road above Aurland, about 8 km from Flåm. Designed by the architects Todd Saunders and Tommie Wilhelmsen for the Norwegian Scenic Routes, the 30-metre walkway of steel and laminated pine reaches out over the pine trees and ends in a glass front 650 metres above the Aurlandsfjord.
