Stranahan House

Stranahan House is the oldest surviving building in Broward County, on the New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Built in 1901 as Frank Stranahan's trading post, where Seminole families came to trade, it became the home of Frank and Ivy Stranahan in 1906. Now a historic house museum, it is shown by docents with period furnishings.
