Fort Worth Water Gardens

The Fort Worth Water Gardens is a city park at the south end of downtown Fort Worth, designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee and dedicated in 1974 as a gift of the Amon G. Carter Foundation. Concrete terraces frame three pools: the Quiet Pool, the Aerated Pool with its spray jets, and the Active Pool, where water runs 38 feet down stepped walls into a basin.
