Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio
The Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio surrounds Villa Barbarigo in the Euganean Hills south of Padua. Laid out from 1669 for the Barbarigo family to designs by Luigi Bernini, it leads from Diana's Pavilion, the old water gate, past fountains, fishponds, statues and a boxwood maze up to the villa, which remains private.
