Große Olympiaschanze
The large ski jumping hill on Gudiberg hill above Garmisch-Partenkirchen, built for the 1936 Winter Olympics and rebuilt several times since, most recently in 2007-08. Its outrun doubled as the Olympic opening and closing ceremony stadium, and the hill still hosts a World Cup jump every New Year's Day as part of the Four Hills Tournament.
