Malbork Castle

Malbork Castle stands in the town of Malbork, about 40 km south-east of Gdańsk. The Teutonic Order built this brick Gothic fortress as its headquarters between about 1274 and 1406, and it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Visitors follow the Historical Castle Route through its courtyards, halls and exhibitions.
