Geirangerfjord

The Geirangerfjord is a 15-kilometre branch of the Sunnylvsfjord with the village of Geiranger at its inner end. Waterfalls such as the Seven Sisters fall down its steep sides, and old fjord farms sit on ledges high above the water. Part of the West Norwegian Fjords UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, it is seen from ferries, boats and roadside viewpoints.
