Norwegian Fjord Centre

The Norwegian Fjord Centre (Norsk Fjordsenter) is the visitor centre of the West Norwegian Fjords World Heritage Site, 1 km from the centre of Geiranger. Its exhibitions explain how the Geirangerfjord was formed, its plants and animals and life on the fjord farms, with a section on Norway's eight UNESCO sites; outside, bronze figures by Ola Stavseng show fjord farmers at work.
