Basilica of the Visitation

The Basilica of the Visitation is the parish church of Għarb, a village in the west of Gozo. Built in 1699–1729, its curved Baroque facade with two bell towers and statues of Faith, Hope and Charity is modelled on Borromini's Sant'Agnese in Agone in Rome. The church faces the village square, lined with traditional Gozitan houses.
