Sant Pere de Galligants

Sant Pere de Galligants is a former Benedictine monastery beside the Galligants stream in Girona, founded in the late 10th century, with a Romanesque church, octagonal bell tower and cloister from the 12th century. Since 1857 it has housed an archaeology collection, now the Girona branch of the Archaeology Museum of Catalonia, with finds from prehistory to the Middle Ages.
