Claude Monet's House and Gardens

Claude Monet lived and painted in this house in Giverny from 1883 until his death in 1926. Visitors see the house with his reconstructed studio-salon and private rooms, the flower garden of the Clos Normand and the water garden he created from 1893, with the water-lily pond and the green Japanese bridge. The estate belongs to the Académie des beaux-arts.
