Burrell Collection

The Burrell Collection is a museum in Pollok Country Park on the south side of Glasgow, holding the art collection that the shipowner Sir William Burrell and his wife Constance gave to the city in 1944. Its glass-walled building by Barry Gasson, John Meunier and Brit Andresen opened in 1983 and reopened in 2022 after a six-year refurbishment.
