Grenoble Cathedral

Grenoble Cathedral has been rebuilt many times since the 10th century and forms a double church with the adjoining Church of Saint-Hugues. From Place Notre-Dame only its massive brick bell-tower porch on a pale stone base is seen; inside, the choir holds a Flamboyant Gothic stone ciborium 14 metres high, commissioned in 1455.
