Pannonhalma Archabbey

Pannonhalma Archabbey is a Benedictine monastery founded in 996 on a 282-metre hill in Pannonhalma, near Győr, and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996. Visitors see the basilica with its 13th-century crypt, the cloister, the classicist library of about 400,000 volumes and the arboretum; around 50 monks live here.
