Hạ Long Bay

Hạ Long Bay is a bay off Hạ Long in Quảng Ninh province, north-eastern Vietnam, with 1,969 islets, most of them forested limestone karsts. Its core zone of 334 km² has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994; boats leave the Hạ Long piers to sail among the islands and stop at caves such as Thiên Cung, Đầu Gỗ and Sửng Sốt.
