Presidential Palace Historical Site

The Presidential Palace Historical Site in Ba Đình is the compound where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from 1954 until his death in 1969. Visitors walk the grounds past the yellow palace completed in 1906 for the Governor-General of French Indochina, which is closed inside, to House No. 54, the carp pond and the stilt house he lived in from 1958.
