Lychnostatis Open Air Museum

Lychnostatis is an open-air museum of traditional Cretan life on the coast at Hersonissos, opened in 1992. Paved paths under vine pergolas lead through a garden of local plants to stone houses, workshops and small displays of rural tools, weaving, pottery and household objects from the island's villages.
