Hallasan

Hallasan is the 1,947-metre shield volcano that forms the centre of Jeju Island and the highest peak in South Korea. The Baengnokdam crater lake lies at its summit, and the surrounding national park, part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, is crossed by marked trails, two of which reach the summit and need a reservation.
